Kinetic constants for the amine substrates measured at one, fixed initial concentration of acetyl-CoA. Reactions were run at 22°C in 300 mM Tris pH 8.0, 150 μM DTNB, 500 μM acetyl-CoA, and the amine concentration was varied in the range 0.3 to 3.0 × Km.
