For each study, cells were treated with LPS alone, LPS + test samples (at indicated concentrations), Dexamethasone (100 μg/mL) + LPS for 24 h. RNA was then isolated from the cells and RT-PCR carried out using random hexamer primers and gene specific primers as described in the Materials and methods.
