The effect of MHY440 on cell cycle regulation in AGS cells. (A) Cells were treated with MHY440 at indicated concentrations for 24 h, stained with propidium iodide (PI), and then subjected to flow cytometry analysis to determine their distribution at each phase of the cell cycle. Representative results from three independent experiments are shown. (B) Results are expressed as means ± SD of four independent experiments. Significance was determined using Student’s t-test (* p < 0.05, ** p < 0.01, and *** p < 0.001 compared with vehicle-treated cells). (C) After MHY440 treatment for 24 h, cells were subjected to western blot analysis for the following proteins: cyclin B1, Cdc2, Cdc25c, p53, and p73. β-actin was used as a protein loading control.
