NTR: normotensive rats receiving distilled water (10 mL/kg), HTR: hypertensive rats receiving distilled water (10 mL/kg) and ethanol (5 g/kg), L h 100 and L h 200: hypertensive rats receiving ethanol and Leersia hexandra extract at doses of 100 and 200 mg/kg, and Nif. 10: hypertensive rats receiving nifedipine at the dose of 10 mg/kg; 2: p <0.01 and 3: p <0.001: significant difference compared to the normal control; c: p <0.001: significant difference compared to hypertensive rats.
