A. CMp (blue trace) and CMn (red trace) are the CM values obtained from the positive and negative displacement current produced by the square-wave voltage stimulus, respectively. CM (black trace) is the average of CMp and CMn. The display of CMp and CMn as separate traces provides information on the voltage dependence of CM over the span of the stimulating voltage. B. The difference between CMn and CMp (CMn-CMp) is a useful parameter for monitoring changes in the voltage dependence of CM in time. C. IHold is the mean of the positive and negative steady currents (IS, P/N).
