miRNA expression profiles of LX-2 cells cultivated under different conditions. (A) Heatmap of the 13 miRNAs differentially expressed between LX-2 groups. Each column represents an individual cellular group and each row represents an individual miRNA. Colors of the heatmap represent the Z-score: higher – red, lower – green. The heatmap was packed using GeneEX (Exiquon, Denmark) software and significance was set at p < 0.05. (B) List of miRNAs differentially expressed between LX-2 groups, value: p < 0.05. (C) Relative miRNA expression in logarithmic scale by qRT-PCR confirms the results found in miRNA PCR arrays. The graphs present values from the average from three independent experiments, and the error bars represent the standard deviation of the mean.
