Mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) expansion from P-0 to P-1. First step of MSC manufacturing involves bone marrow (BM) harvesting from healthy donors. MSC manufacturing begins with mononuclear enrichment (MNC) using Ficoll gradient. Cells are cultured for 3–4 wk in tissue culture flasks and then cryopreserved until they are ready to be infused.
