Neutrophil binding to E- and P-selectin coated beads. Fluorescent beads coated with E- or P-selectin were treated with free IEL peptide, DS only, EC-SEAL, GMI-1070 or combined EC-SEAL/GMI-1070 and incubated with neutrophils (concentration = 106/mL). Neutrophil-bead binding was assessed using flow cytometry and all values were normalized to vehicle control (mean fluorescence intensity, MFI). *Represents a significant difference from the vehicle control, #represents a significant difference from DS only (30 µM). n = 6 (E-selectin), n = 3 (P-selectin), p < 0.05.
