Effect of DN EGFR on the expression of IL-12, IFN-γ, TNF-α and NOS2 in the eye and brain. Trg-Ctr and Trg-DN EGFR mice infected with ME49 tissue cysts were euthanized at 14 days. Uninfected mice were used as controls. Levels of IL-12 p40, IFN-γ, TNF-α and NOS2 mRNA in eyes and brains were examined using qPCR. Levels were compared to those of one Trg-Ctr mouse that was given an arbitrary value of 1. Each group contained 12 mice pooled from 3 experiments. Results are shown as the mean ± SEM.
