The figure summarizes predicted functional protein partners using human TRP14 as query (TXNDC17, red), with the proteins predicted to directly interact with TRP14 shown in coloured nodes and the second shell of interactors shown in non‐coloured nodes. Note that TRP14 is correctly predicted to interact with TrxR1 (TXNRD1) and indirectly, through TrxR1, with Trx1 (TXN). The functional overlap between Trx1 and TRP14 is otherwise predicted to be very low, with Trx1 interacting with a cluster of proteins involved in dTNP synthesis and proliferation or folate metabolism, while TRP14 is predicted to possibly interact with ubiquination status and proteasome function, as indicated in the figure.
