A His6-tag was coupled to an anti-pLDH antibody via Sulfo-SMCC to allow for chelation of the His6-tagged antibody to Co(II)NTA-functionalized magnetic bead. Remaining sites on the bead surface (unoccupied by antibody) permitted coordination of HRP2 directly to the bead surface.
