(A) JHH-6 cells were treated for 24 h in serum free medium with recombinant rAPE1^WT and rAPE1^K4pleA proteins (1–2 μg/ml concentration). 24 h serum free medium JHH-6 cells were used as a control (CTR). Performed qPCR analyses show that rAPE1^K4pleA recombinant protein promotes an induction of IL-6 and IL-8 mRNA expression levels. (B) IL-6 and IL-8 induction in JHH-6 TNF-α treated cells. JHH-6 cells were treated for 3 h in serum free medium with TNF-α (2000 U/ml concentration). Performed qPCR analyses show the induction of IL-6 and IL-8 mRNA expression mediated by TNF-α. Statistical analyses were achieved by using Two-way ANOVA test.
