Effect of QZS on electrophysiological parameters of injured sciatic nerves in rats.

Two and four weeks after surgery, NCVs were significantly lower in the NCI and NCI + QZS groups than in the sham group, and higher in rats treated with QZS than in those without the drug. At 8 weeks after surgery, NCVs were significantly lower in the NCI and NCI + QZS groups than in the sham group. *P < 0.05. Data are expressed as the mean ± SD (n = 6; one-way analysis of variance followed by the least significant difference post hoc test). QZS: Qian-Zheng-San; NCV: nerve conduction velocity; NCI: nerve cush injury.
