Overregulation of miR-217 suppresses cervical carcinoma cell growth and induces apoptosis.

Notes: (A) Upregulation of miR-217 inhibited the growth of SiHa and Ca-Ski. The growth index was assessed after 1, 2, 3, and 4 days. (B) Colony formation assay showed that miR-217 transfection reduced colony formation of both SiHa and Ca-Ski cells. (C) Overregulation of miR-217 increased the apoptosis of SiHa and Ca-Ski. Data are presented as mean ± SD, *P<0.05 and **P<0.01 compared to control.
