The proportions (%) here are weighted proportions based on observations with reported information on each of the variables. (4) The proportions of unmet needs for glasses/hearing aid are based on the proportions of respondents with vision/hearing loss but without glasses/hearing aid among all respondents who have reported vision/hearing capacities. As shown in Table 1, its counterpart includes both respondents who do not have vision/hearing loss, and those with vision/hearing loss but with glasses/hearing aid.
