BPC157 enhances the percentages of cultured enteric neurons and EGCs. Enteric ganglia were freshly isolated from myenteric preparations of rat (n = 4) ileum and colon. The ganglia were separated into 18 culture dishes of which 7 had Krebs solution (control group) and 11 dishes had BPC157 (100 μmol/L).
