All analyses are based on Sample B (N = 788), except for the test-retest reliability, which used Subsample C (n = 265). CR, composite reliability; AVE, average variance explained; rtt, test-retest reliability; 2, Competition/Performance; 3, Distraction/Catharsis; 4, Body/Appearance; 5, Health; 6, Fitness; 7, Aesthetics; 8, Risk/Challenge. Correlations of factor scores show marginal differences compared with correlations of scales (Mdifferences = 0.05, SDdifferences = 0.05).
