Sterone inhibited the LPS-induced inflammatory activation of BV2 and RAW264.7 cells. Cells were pre-treated with the indicated concentrations of sterone or the positive control of dexamethasone (DXMS) for 30 min before the stimulation with 100 ng/mL LPS for 6 h individually. The cellular morphological changes are presented in microphotographs and statistical graphs (A). Protein levels of the biomarker Iba-1 were measured using western blotting. Representative images of BV2 (B) and RAW264.7 cells (C) from more than three independent experiments are shown.
