Table 2.

Families (n = 8) with unique identifiers (UI) were selected from a range of locations (latitude, longitude, elevation) and climate based on the summer heat:moisture index (SH:M) of the region. The present study classified the drought severity (low, low-mid, mid-high, high) based on the SH:M and assigned names accordingly to the families. The details are provided in methods Section 4.1.
