Cytocompatibility test on hMSCs; the cell morphology after 3 days of seeding on copolymer/α-TCP disks (20 w/v% copolymer, L/P of 0.5 g·g⁻¹; setting for 10 days), cells seeded on scaffolds were visualized using confocal microscopy (DiOC6(3) – green color; propidium iodide – red color), scale bar = 100 μm (a). Cell metabolic activity was determined using MTS test (b); cell proliferation was determined in terms of the quantification of the amount of DNA at 24 hours and 3 days (c). Cells seeded on tissue culture plastic were used as a control and the data in b and c were normalized to the values obtained after 24 h of cell culture.
