Quantitative regulation of SynapTRAP RNAs occurs by both differential baseline TRAP expression and differential localization. A, Differential expression analysis reveals a subset of genes significantly differentially expressed between RBP4 and VGAT SynapTRAP samples may be mediated by differential neurite localization rather than differential TRAP expression. Log2-transformed fold-change (logFC) between SynapTRAP samples is shown on the y-axis, and logFC between TRAP samples is shown on the x-axis. Deviation from perfect correlation indicates additional post-transcriptional regulation. Transcripts with significant evidence for such regulation are shown in red (RBP4 upregulated) and blue (VGAT upregulated), respectively.
