Key Common Architectures. Gleason grade 3 corresponds to Gleason 3 glandular patterns, both loosely packed, characterized by well-circumscribed glands, and crowded glands, characterized by minimal stromal space between glands. Gleason grade 4 corresponds to four common Gleason 4 patterns, fused, cribriform, ill-defined, and glomeruloid glands. Gleason grade 5 corresponds to two common Gleason 5 patterns, single-cell infiltrating and solid cell types.
