BC - BC membrane impregnated with EOs; C - clove oil, E - eucalyptus oil, T - thyme oil. Data are expressed as inhibition zone (mm) and presented as a mean ± standard error of the mean. The volume of the EOs used was the same for all three methods and it was estimated on the basis of results obtained in Fig. 2a for a cellulose membrane.
