High-sensitivity troponin T (hsTnT), N-terminal B-type natriuretic
peptide (NT-proBNP), and growth differentiation factor-15 (GDF-15) were each
independently associated with higher rates of S/SEE. hsTnT and GDF-15 were both
independently associated with higher rates of bleeding, but NT-proBNP was not.
GDF-15 indicates growth differentiation factor-15; hsTnT, high-sensitivity
troponin T; HR, hazard ratio; Int, interval; ng/L, nanograms/liter; NT-proBNP,
N-terminal B-type natriuretic peptide; pg/mL, picograms/milliliter.
