Heatmap of differentially expressed genes. Differentially expressed gene transcripts in HCECs cultured on flat silk films and on silk films with microscale (1 μm and 2 μm) nanoscale (800 nm) topographical pattern were filtered for a fold change cutoff of 1.5 and p-value cutoff of 0.05 and were used to generate gene ontology. Corresponding p-values for each gene ontological categories were shown.
