Developmental DOSS treatment promotes a proinflammatory state in adult F1 male mice. At time of sacrifice (16 weeks), plasma and adipose tissue were collected (n = 12/group). Circulating levels of IL-6 and TNF-α were determined using MSD assays, gene expression using RNA isolation, along with cDNA conversion and qPCR using the delta delta Ct method with Hprt as the housekeeping gene. Results are shown for (A) circulating levels of IL-6 in plasma, (B) circulating levels of TNF-α in plasma, (C) Cox2 gene expression in IWAT tissue, and (D) Nox4 gene expression in IWAT tissue (*p < 0.05 unpaired t-test). Some data points were excluded via outlier testing. Graph bars represent means and standard deviations.
