The response scale for the positive (e.g., “I think I might enjoy, experience pleasure, or feel good using alcohol”) and negative (“I think I might feel bad, sick, or embarrassed using alcohol”) expectancy questions were: 1=Strongly Disagree, 2=Disagree, 3=Agree, 4=Strongly Agree (Disagree > 2.5 > Agree).
