HPLC analysis of extracts from cultures grown without added IPTG showing multi-gene expression plasmids pJC133 and pJC132 encode all functions necessary to restore conversion of exogenous PA-B to PA-A in 10586 Δmup-cluster. No conversion was observed with plasmid pJC132, which lacks the mupL gene.
