The c-MYC GCN gain status and overall survival in 192 CRC patients of cohort 1. Kaplan–Meier survival curves illustrating the prognostic effect of c-MYC GCN gain with detection methods. (A) c-MYC GCN gain by SISH was associated with unfavorable overall survival. (B) c-MYC GCN gain by ddPCR was associated with unfavorable overall survival. (C) No c-MYC GCN gain by either SISH or ddPCR, c-MYC GCN gain by only SISH, c-MYC GCN gain by only ddPCR, and c-MYC GCN gain by both SISH and ddPCR was found in 156 (81.3%), 29 (15.1%), 2 (1.0%) and 5 (2.6%) cases respectively. (D) c-MYC GCN gain by both SISH and ddPCR was correlated with unfavorable prognosis.
