Effect of Trametes versicolor and Grifola frondosa extracts on cell migration and invasion in LoVo colon cancer cells. (A) LoVo cells were pre-treated for 2 h with mitomycin C to block proliferation and wound healing assay was followed for 3 days in presence or absence of the indicated concentrations of TV and GF extracts. Wound closure was quantified using ImageJ program. Data are represented by the means ± SD in duplicates from two independent experiments. (B) Effect of TV and GF extracts on cell invasion in LoVo colon cancer cells. Cells were treated with the indicated concentrations of extracts for 48h. Cells were trypsinized and seeded in an invasion chamber as described in the Material and Methods. Migrated cells were stained, photographed and counted with a microscope at 200X. Scaled bar 627µm.
