Effects of prenatal kynurenine treatment on extracellular KYNA and glutamate levels in the dorsal hippocampus of adult animals. Pregnant rats were exposed to kynurenine (100 mg/day) from ED 15–22 (EKyn). ECon: control rats fed normal chow prenatally. In adulthood (PD 56–85), 30-min microdialysate samples were collected consecutively for 2 hours.
