Figure 4

CHFR expression is elevated in human gastric cancer with metastasis and its silencing impaired the migration ability of gastric cancer cells.

Notes: (A) The association between CHFR expression and gastric cancer metastasis was analyzed using the Human Cancer Metastasis Dataset. (B) HGC-27 cells were transfected with siRNA negative control or CHFR-siRNA-1 and CHFR-siRNA-2 for 24 hours. Then, the cells were analyzed by Western blot for the detection of CHFR expression. β-actin was used as a loading control. (C) HGC-27 cells were transfected with siRNA-negative control or CHFR-siRNA-2 for 24 hours. Then, HGC-27 cells were seeded outside the chambers of transwell for an indicated time course. After that, cells were treated as described in the section “Materials and Methods”. Quantitative analysis of gastric cell migration was performed using transwell assay (below panel). Data were presented as mean ± SD of three independent experiments. **P<0.01 vs control group.

Abbreviations: siRNA, small interference RNA; NC, negative control.
