CRITERIA EXPLANATION OF CRITERIA
Criterion 1:
assessment of the cultural and ethical acceptability of the intervention
1. Taking into account the socio-cultural context (including care belief systems) wherein the intervention is to be used, would you say that the intervention is culturally acceptable?
2. Taking into account that mental health intervention might harm beneficiaries, would you say that this intervention safeguard and protect its recipients
Criterion 2: assessment of feasibility (deliverability and affordability) of the intervention
1. Taking into account the resources available to implement the intervention, would you say that the intervention is affordable in a low-income setting?
2. Taking into account the level of difficulty with intervention delivery (i.e. standardizability, required human resources, community infrastructure), would you say that the intervention would be deliverable within the context of interest?
Criterion 3: assessment of likelihood that the intervention would be effective 1. Based on the best existing evidence and knowledge, would the intervention that would be utilized be effective?
