Table 1.

Indexes of structural diversity (Shannon-Wiener), specificity (phylo-structural index), and link intensity on resource (PDI), of two acanthocephalan parasites of fish, Pomphorhynchus laevis and P. tereticollis, and level of niche overlap between the two parasites. Parameters of host use (species range and mean abundance per host species) were estimated from a large sample of fish representative of local fish community, in two rivers where the two parasite species occur in sympatry (Ouche and Vingeanne rivers).
