(a) Near infra red transmission spectra referenced to the unirradiated film value in the visible. As the incident laser fluence is increased, the transmission at ~1 μm decreases and the cut-off shifts to shorter wavelengths. Expanding this spectral region and plotting relative optical density (b), shows the appearance of a resonant peak that is attributed to plasmon resonance effects due to a change in size of the ITO nanoparticles and their local optical environment (i.e. loss of MPTS binder).
