Figure 1 is a conceptual diagram having two columns. One column shows the human toxicity impact pathway which enlists the chemical mass emitted followed by the time-integrated mass in the environment, the population mass intake, the disease incidences in exposed population, and the disability-adjusted life years. The other column shows the calculation of LCIA metrics. — Generalized illustrative representation of the existing life cycle human toxicity source-to-damage characterization framework. Units of metrics and impact pathways considered may differ between methods.
