PTPN9 expression is frequently downregulated in colorectal cancer tissues.

Notes: (A and B) Expression of PTPN9 was downregulated in 47 samples of colorectal cancer tissues compared with the paired adjacent normal tissues. (C and D) Expression of PTPN9 in the colorectal cancer tissues was significantly downregulated compared with the paired adjacent normal tissues (n=33). (E) The overall survival rate of patients with low expression of PTPN9 was significantly lower than that of patients with high expression of PTPN9 in 77 samples of colorectal cancer tissues. A paired Student’s t-test (for comparisons of two groups) was used to evaluate statistical significance and Kaplan–Meier analysis was used for survival analysis.
