Prevalence of obesity was estimated using the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) database from 2008 to 2014. ^†Obesity was defined as a body mass index (BMI) >30 according to the World Health Organization classification. BMI was calculated as weight in kilograms divided by height in square meters.
