The dotted line depicts the area where cell migration occurs with ptc > GFP in the imaginal wing disc (a). ptc-Gal4 driven overexpression of scrib-RNAi promoted cells from A/P boundary migrating to posterior and MMP1 activation (eg), compared to the GFP-expressing control (bd). As a positive control, Puc blocked the cell migration phenotype and MMP1 staining (hj). Expression of two independent lic-RNAi lines significantly inhibited cell invasion and MMP1 expression (kp).
