amRNA expression of immune and inflammatory mediators increased in the lumbar spinal cord after RSD. Male C57BL/6 mice were subjected to 6 d of RSD (Stress) or left undisturbed as controls. Fourteen hours after the last day of stress, spinal cords were collected and dissected for mRNA analyses. mRNA levels of inflammatory cytokines, chemokines, regulatory/adhesion molecules, and immune mediators were determined in the lumbar spinal cord.
