(A, B) Stereotactic EEG (SEEG) recording of spontaneous hippocampal seizure onset in patient 1 after repetitive interictal spiking, with concurrent thoraco-abdominal breathing signal cessation, which is replaced by a pulse artifact, and indicative of ictal central apnea. Twelve seconds later, surface EEG seizure onset appears.
