Each individual sign of withdrawal was rated on a 0–2 point scale, with 0 representing absence of sign, 1 representing moderate severity, and 2 representing extreme severity. Individual withdrawal sign ratings were then combined to produce a global score. Data are indicated as median and interquartile range (IQR) of n = 8 rats.
