Loss of early mycobacterial containment in the lungs of M. tuberculosis HN878-infected TLR2KO mice. WT and TLR2KO mice were aerosol infected with ∼20 CFU of M. tuberculosis HN878, and at indicated time points bacterial burden was determined in lung (A) and spleen (B). Five mice were included for each time point for WT and TLR2KO groups. Data are presented as means ± standard errors of the means and are representative of one of two individual experiments.
