Principal component analysis (PCA) of winter wheat crop productivity (total above ground biomass, straw biomass, and grain mass) can differentiate plants grown from F1 seeds produced by pelleted and primed plants in 2015–16 and sown in 2016–17 (blue) from plants grown from pelleted and primed (red), pelleted (green) or untreated (black) seeds. In these analyses a strong year effect is also apparent for both wheat varieties (indicated by dashed ovals). Axis scales are the same for each biplot and the cumulative percentage covariance is shown for both principal axes.
