Larval feeding inhibition assay was performed by treating L2 larvae with increasing concentration of IVM, with or without silencing of Hco-nhr-8 through RNAi technique using whether double stranded RNA specifically targeting Hco-nhr-8 or non-target (gfp) siRNA as a control. The LFI₅₀ estimates the concentration of IVM at which 50% of the L2 did not feed. Data are mean ± SEM from 3 independent experiments.
