Percentage of hypofluorescent area was calculated from a trapezoid located superior or inferior to the optic disc, as indicated in the Methods section. Data are presented as the mean ± SE from the same nine rats used in panel A. Hypofluorescence was significantly higher in inferior compared with superior retina at p70 (P < 0.0001) and p84 (P = 0.012).
