Effect of tangeretin on renal NF-kB p65 activities in nuclear fractions of tissue extracts. Nuclear proteins were extracted from kidney tissue homogenates by using a nuclear extraction kit; the assay was an ELISA-based technique detecting phosphorylated p65 in nuclear extracts; the light absorbance at 450 nm was proportional to the phosphorylated p65 content in micro-wells.
