Pelargonidin was quantified in cyanidin equivalents. Total polyphenol content is calculated as gallic acid (GA) equivalent in mg GA/ g dry leaf weight. BQ, below quantification limits. Naringenin chalcone glycosides were converted to naringenin during acid hydrolysis.
