Isolated pancreatic acini were incubated in the absence or presence of VIP (10 nM) or secretin (10 nM) for the indicated times, and then lysed. Western blots were analyzed using anti-pT202/Y204 p44/42 or anti-pT180/Y182 p38 and, as loading control, antitotal p44/42 or p38. Bands were visualized using chemiluminescence and quantified by densitometry. Top: results of a representative blot of 3 independent experiments are shown.
