Confirmation of GluN2B-knockdown (KD) in mouse spinal cord. GluN2B-floxed mice were injected at time of weaning with saline (control) or adeno-associated virus expressing Cre recombinase (AAV9-Cre; conditional knockdown). Quantitative real-time reverse transcription (RT-qPCR) of spinal cord tissue indicates no changes in Grin2A mRNA levels (A) but a significant decrease in Grin2B mRNA (B) in GluN2B-KD mice compared with controls.
